A wether is a castrated male goat. He makes an excellent pet, pack animal and companion. A Pygora wether is a perfect goat for the hand spinner. As his only job is fiber production, he typically will provide you with wonderful fleece. As a bonus, he will have none of the strong odors associated with bucks in rut.
